Upgrading for overhead crane anti-sway method using variable frequency drive

The paper discusses about upgrading the overhead crane anti-sway method base on induction motor torque control from rotor resistance starter to variable frequency drives (VFDs). included two phases. phase 1 is identify performance of operation using (old existing starter). 2 that use a drive (new primary equations connecting tractive force and load sway angle, which law based designed for 0% wobble at end journey. words accelerating braking have been written. Outcomes modelling behaviour trolley-load masses normal ratios, system described weight length rope, supports hypothesis concerning feasibility direct ON OFF regulation cranes.
